It was a lost bet with her brother that led to Shae Graham to first try wheelchair rugby, after many years of refusing to try. In 2019, Shae Graham became the first and only woman to have represent Australia’s mixed gender wheelchair rugby team, the Steelers. Shae also sits on the board as an athlete representative of World Wheelchair Rugby, and is currently preparing to be selected in the Australian team for her second Paralympics in Paris 2024.
