We don't think twice about to forking out thousands on killer heels and hot boots, yet when it comes to our most worn footwear- that being slippers, we cut corners and buy those cheap and nasty once-off's that just end up in a landfill (another reason to cringe). NO MORE! In today's blog, I'm talking all things FLUFFY FOOTWEAR, focusing on great quality, locally made sheepskin slippers that are a treat for your feet! Let's talk about my favourite jewellery accessory shall we? STUDS! I love studs so much! They are pretty easy to wear and I love creating a story with double studs on my ears. One of my favourite jewellery brands for really high quality pieces is Georgini. You may remember I did a post on them last year with their gorgeous layered necklaces and some cute earrings, and today I'm showing you pieces from their latest collection, my favourite being all the gorgeous studs! I have a confession to make.... I gave up my gym membership a while ago, because I'm so over spending my time indoors working out. BORING! These days I'd much rather be out on the road - even if it's just a walk around my hood. Getting out is so much better especially considering I, like you most likely, spend most of my time cooped indoors and usually stuck behind my computer screen. It's nice to get out and see the world and it's amazing how doing this is better when you have the right shoes! I love travelling. I love wandering and exploring the unknown. Discovering new places, emerging in new cultures. I love it all! There’s a quote by an unknown author that says, “Traveling is the only thing you buy that makes you richer” and it’s true! I love nothing more than experiencing all this for myself, but I also love hearing travel tales and stories from other travellers. And what better way to ignite a travel conversation than by wearing your travel stories on your wrist? Remember you still have until Sunday this week to stand a chance of winning your own Nominatio ..read more

Don’t you just love this weather? Sunny days out in Jozi with a nice chill in the air are my favourite kind! Yes, I’ve fully embraced cozy season and my go-to, casual outfit for every day would look something like this… Fluffy Beanie – check! Fingerless Arm Warmers – check! Puffer Vest – check! Cozy Boots – check! While our winters in South Africa are pretty mild, compared to Europe (and trust me, it was even colder in Prague during their spring), we still get those days when the “freeze factor” seems real. As long as my head, back, hands and feet are warm, then I’m OK. Which is why I love th ..read more

A lot of you girls have been asking me about the necklaces that I’m wearing in my profile pic (the same one I wore on this post and on instagram yesterday). Aren’t they just beautiful? Both are from Georgini, an Australian jewellery brand (that’s available from various retailers in South Africa – as well as via their local online store) and they have some truly beautiful pieces; some bold, some dainty, some intricate and some brightly coloured as well. I’ve slowly been trying to build my jewellery collection into something that I love. Bit by bit, I’m adding qual ..read more
