I'm the kind of person who thinks that there's "always room for improvement". This discussion is not to force you to pick apart your favourites, but rather because I believe it's perfectly fine to love something and appreciate it for what it is, but still acknowledge its shortcomings (if any). If you don't have a criticism of your own, feel free to share what you've seen other people say about it. (+ add your own take) I'll go first - NIF1 is 1 of my fav dramas and I rewatch it once every year. 1 criticism I have of it is that it feels like a 爽文 ("feel-good"?/satisfying story), because almost ..read more

Is Chemistry really that important in dramas

I know this question might sound stupid and juvenile but hear me out.... I personally have never been someone who goes deep deep into a drama and observes it from all angles or thinks that much into it. My reviews of dramas usually consist of whether the leads where annoying and stupid or not, whether they and the scenary looked good or not and whether i liked it or not. I usually hear people go so deep into things like plot, plotholes, character development, healthy relationships, toxicity and all that but i have never gotten it. I know the meanings of these words of course, but to me, i don ..read more

Yet to see if there are many other posts of this but felt this was worth a post Xu Kai s face card is good. Hope it doesn't decline. The mom reminds me of mine and i hope to become like chenguan The grandma was the most rocking character change my mind Was watching clips of ths show but started watching full episodes at 21 and ll continue unless it becomes too cliched or angsty Sadly both the leads don't move me like in blossom they are written slightly flat submitted by /u/papichula2 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

In Blossom Random Thoughts

I have finished In Blossom about a week ago and had some thoughts that just won't leave my head and wanted to share and see your thoughts Why is there a lake filled with knives? Did #6 really hire a jeweler to make an intricate piece just so he can trick him and kill him, to only use 1 needle that was part of the piece to kill Caiwei? How did Shangguan Zhi flip 100 coins and they all landed heads? Is no one going to question that there is a way to swap bodies? Did Shangguan Zhi break her ankle to learn a dance only to not have to perform it? submitted by /u/AsterPBDF [visit reddi ..read more

I've been watching The Long Ballad and loving it so far! I'm almost at the end of episode 38 now and OMG. What a rollercoaster! >! Mimi Guli finally gets her happy ending - couple secured! - but then they give her man several death flags. The last one was the slow motion departure. I'm not even at the end of the episode yet but he might very well be dead by the end of it. !< But that's not all! >! Regarding the battle, the Eagle tribe fail successfully, all seems good. Sun is shooting his shot to be with Changge... !< so all is well. All should be well right?! >! No. Ashile Sun ..read more
