There have been some big changes at the Parks at Texas Star (formerly Softball World) in Euless Texas. Softball World was originally built in 1983 and historically was known as a staple of softball complexes in Texas. The City of Euless purchased the park in 1997 and recently completed a $4.3M renovation. The City of Euless took advantage of the proximity of nearby Parks at Texas Star, which hosts baseball and soccer leagues. One of Loudoun’s premier sports complexes received national recognition last week from the Senior Softball-USA organization. During its annual meeting in Las Vegas, officials with Senior Softball-USA presented Potomack Lakes Sportsplex with its Complex of the Year award.
