Manila, Philippines – On World Oral Health Day, Cleene CLIO invites everyone to celebrate by practicing proper oral healthcare with their families.
A product of proudly Filipino company PHILUSA Corporation, Cleene CLIO has been an ardent supporter of this global oral health initiative, especially with oral care given less priority during the pandemic when accessibility to dentists and visits to oral health facilities were challenging at the height of the lockdowns.

A good friend of mine (Fae a.k.a. Miss Pey) asked me if I could be a guest in an online show that would be broadcast on several social media platforms and discuss my daily life as a mom and blogger. I was hesitant at first because I had never been interviewed by anybody! Nah never! And to be broadcast online, I think that’s huge! Then I asked her who would be conducting the interview. And here’s her response… “Si Mocha and Michelle Gumabao or me, choose!” And then a minute of silence and I think my jaw just dropped.

To make things worse, the interview will take place LIVE ..read more

Pork Sinigang, also known as Sinigang na Baboy, is a classic Filipino soup dish with a sour taste. The tamarind fruit is traditionally used as the dish’s sour ingredient. This sour ingredient has evolved over time, and now you may use guava, calamansi, bilimbi (kamias), unripe green mango, or santol instead of tamarind.
Today, the “Sinigang Mix,” a powdered sour-soup-based mix, is often used for convenience. This “Sinigang Mix powder” is quite popular, and it can be found in almost all Filipino shops, sari-sari store and supermarkets. It’s most commonly available in tamarind, guava and tamari ..read more

Picadillo is a popular food in many countries in Latin America and the Philippines. It is a classic meat dish (ground pork or beef) with raisins, olives, tomatoes, and potatoes. Ingredients can vary according to region.
Yummy!
In Spanish, Picadillo is the tiny version of “cut” or “ground.” Its descriptive name gives away the main attribute of Picadillo, as the most essential component is finely ground beef or pork. Each country is actually modifying the Picadillo recipe to match local tastes. Yet ground meat is still there and one may argue that it is the dish’s essence. Unless it has no good ..read more

Caldereta or Kaldereta has different variations using beef, pork, and chicken. It is meat stewed in vegetables and liver spread. Plus a touch of heat and saltiness from the cheese.
The name Caldereta derives from the Spanish word “caldera” which means cauldron. The Spaniards brought this dish to the Philippines during their three hundred year colonization in the Philippines.
Today there are different Caldereta recipes all over the internet. But how about using shrimp instead of meat? Hmm… interesting. So I decided to try it but less the veggies to make the shrimp as the king of the dish.
