The Brandon General Museum and Archives is now hiring an Assistant Museum Administrator for a 9-week basis starting mid to late June to assist the Museum Administrator and BGMA Volunteers. We are VERY excited for this new collaboration with the library and can’t wait to share what items we’ll be bringing: Join us for the Museum Edition of our Creative Writing Program! Meetings will happen every Tuesday in May from 4 to 5 PM. The first two meetings will be at the downtown branch of the Brandon Public Library, and the last two meetings will be at the Brandon General Museum & Archives. We’re so excited to be partnered with the Western Manitoba Regional Library and Brandon Riverbank for this FREE screening of Stuffed – a documentary about the art of taxidermy directed by Erin Derham! The Riverbank Discovery Centre will be providing some examples of taxidermy, while we will be speaking about the legacy of the B.J.
