Until I started reading this I didn’t realise how much I missed this world. I’m sad we didn’t get a glimpse of all the original crew from The Raven Cycle. Like I get it but I’m sad and now I feel like I need to reread The Raven Cycle. Which is definitely not a problem haha.

I’m going to start off by saying that this series is trash & all the male characters are horrendous (except Kai) but it’s FUCKING ADDICTING. I don’t know what drugs Penelope Douglas puts in her writing but they work… At the moment I’ve only read the first two and if the rest of the ser ..read more

February is fast approaching and there is so many books releasing that I’m keen to check out! This is going to be a long one so let’s jump in.

Bride has been getting a tonne of hype on BookTook. This one is a Marriage of Convenience Romantasy between the daughter of the most powerful Vampyre & the Alpha of the Weres. This sounds so intriguing and I’m very keen to pick this one up.
Next we have When Grumpy Met Sunshine which is a steamy Romance with of course a Grumpy/Sunshine trope following a retired Footballer wanting to publish his memoir but not imagine he could do a ..read more

It’s time to go through my 2023 Reading Stats! Starting with my overall reading goal. My goal was 150 books but I only read 120 in 2023 thanks to being in slumps for 4-5ish months. I’m still happy with how much I did read though.
The Overview
Firstly we have the books read per month. As I said I was in a slump for a few months but I still did better than last year where I went a whole month and didn’t read a thing. In 2023 the lowest was 3 books in both July & August. Though if you look closer at those months in July I read 2 graphic novels and 1 audiobook which was a reread & August w ..read more

It’s that time of year again! I’ll be going through the top 10 I read in 2023, revealing the Best Book of 2023 using my book bracket & also some honourable mentions from 2023. Let’s jump in!
Top 10 Books of 2023
While it took me a long time to read The Killing Code due to being in a bit of a reading slump I absolutely loved it. It was also one of those books that stuck with me. I found myself thinking about it weeks and even months later. The Killing Code is a LGBT+ Historical Fiction book set during WWII at a Signals Intelligence unit in Washington DC where a group of badass women join f ..read more

In 2023 I threw myself into Digital Bullet Journal and it was a good decision to make creatively for me. I will be doing a post ‘flipping through’ my 2023 spreads but for now I wanted to share my 2024 spreads. As usual I use the Procreate app for my digital bullet journalling. I use Procreate for my business and am very used to use it so for me trying to use the other available apps like GoodNotes I just couldn’t get them hang of them. or I kept wanting to do something specific but I couldn’t as those apps didn’t have that feature. This resulted in me having to go to Procreate and create that ..read more

Every year I chose a number of books I want to aim to read that year. I am very much a mood reader, so I struggle sometimes to read the books that have been on my physical TBR for a while. So I use this list to try and take some of those off the list. The only rule I have is that the books I chose must be on my physical owned TBR prior to the year the challenge is for. Enough with the technicalities and onto the 10 books I hope to read in 2024!
I’m very keen to start all of these. I think Tomorrow, Tomorrow, Tomorrow will be my first read of the year and I’ve heard so many good things about i ..read more
