Raegen has done her due diligence and dug up two old poems from her own high school journal (covered with suns and moons no less). Along with one hold over poem from her last appearance, the the co-hosts work through the emo angst, rhymes, and stream of consciousness to conclude... high school is a weird time.

What sounds does a Nightingale make? Don't ask Aaron and Dave. Aaron digs back into an old external hard drive to find a writing assignment from 2007. One would think that writing for a school assignment may make the poetry better... and at least younger Aaron thought so. To top it all off Birds is the spiritual sister of an early entry in the Wolf Journal titled "Sing".

Maddie makes a triumphant return to the show with three phenomenally different “bad” poems from a one and a half year span when she was graduating college. Aaron forgets about basic sentence structure making his critiques, questions, and interpretations of these poems, less than stellar. Luckily, Maddie gave a Master class on linguistics and Dave could help make up for Aaron’s lack of understanding the English language.

Seth Perry brings a rap song from his short time as a rapper in the Vancouver scene of the early 00s. In hearing this artifact from time, Dave and Aaron find themselves in the presence of the one and only Professor Lungz. Did they know that was Seth's rap name before this interview... no... but were they still thrilled to find themselves under his tutelage...sure! They were more interested in the journey from Lungz to Perry and Seth did not disappoint.

This week Aaron brings a poem he remembered writing years ago that took months to find. Whether the search was worth it is up to the listener. Dave and Aaron discuss the odd way previous Aaron tried to use sing songy rhymes to critique incredibly harmful and dangerous theology such as Prosperity Gospel and Christian Nationalism. It definetaly was a choice. Also ...nation.
