Hello all happy April. Well, here's the news so far. I hate my Uncle Sam. I don't even believe he's my real uncle. Here's why tax season his here and guess what?   Hello all well here's the story for the week. I did my taxes and my account said that I have to take my rental house off the market for a while because If I didn't the taxes, I have to pay would be around $100,000 to uncle sam. That's crazy right. I don't think my hand would allow me to write check that big to the government. Needless to say, I still have to pay taxes on money that we made this year which sucks.  Hello all well here's the story so far. I think I'll pass on dealing with my real estate agent that I have again in the future. He's not doing his job and here's why I say this. I usually check on my vacant house once a week to see what's going on. When I walked into the house it was cold in there. So, I checked my old heating system and the pilot light had blown out.  Hello all well here's the story for the week so far. My real estate agent dropped the ball again. I mean I started getting call to my house at 7 in the morning this week. I was mad that somebody had the nerve to call me that early. Anyway, it was a real estate agent talking about my house that I was trying to sell is off the MLS listing and if I was interested in selling it.   Hello all well here's the story so far for the New Year 2024. Can we all say Rip Off. I had a taste for a whopper and I went to burger king. I usually get cheese with my whopper but now they are charging you $2 extra for a slice of cheese. I told them forget it. I ordered the regular whopper which tasted nasty, and it cost $8 a whopper from the normal $5. This year I am staying away from fast food it's too expensive and nasty tasting.   Hello all Happy Holidays Just wanted to wish you a safe and happy holiday. But first let me tell you my story for the end of the year. My real estate agent I have been working with came in with an offer all cash for my rental home I want to sell. It was the same offer from a different person that wanted the house for the same amount.  The offer was 50,000 less than what I was asking for the house.   Hello all well heres' the story for the week. I Hate Mess!!  Being older I hate to see mess of any kind. My contractor came a couple of days ago and he left a mess. Mind you I am paying him to clean up the mess. But since he had concrete work to do, he left the concrete bags the old garage door that he replaced, the old window he replaced.
