La vera cucina Italiana | Antico

In a somewhat unprominent location above the Niederdorf, right on the Zähringerstrasse, the restaurant Antico welcomes its guests through an inconspicuous entrance. What used to be a hip nightlife hotspot back in the days, now comes off as an authentic Italian restaurant. The name Antico is no coincidence; the interior is intentionally kept antique and radiates its charm with various rarities from local flea markets. As inconspicuous as the restaurant entrance may appear, one is all the more amazed when one steps into the large dining room, where even a big chandelier swings high on the ceilin ..read more

We are still captivated by the restaurant SÕKO and find this restaurant a real insider gem. The restaurant is located on Kalkbreitestrasse and looks rather inconspicuous from the outside at first. Inside you will find a small but nice restaurant with a lot of attention to detail, green plants and stylish interior. Very simple but modern. We had SÕKO on our radar for quite some time, and friends kept telling us that we had to try the restaurant. No sooner said than done! We were greeted with two magnificent cocktails; The Ume Oishi and SÕKO's Sprizzer. The cocktails were very refreshing and pe ..read more

Anyone who has tasted Wagyu at least once in their life knows; it's not to be missed. The Metropol restaurant is organizing an exclusive event in this context on May 4, 2022, which is specifically aimed at meat and champagne lovers. We were allowed to get an advance look at the restaurant, the concept and of course taste the Wagyu meat. However, the Metropol restaurant also has a lot to offer besides meat dishes - so it is certainly not only aimed at meat lovers, but also vegetarians or pescatarians. The interior of the restaurant is rather simple and reminds of a classic hotel restaurant at f ..read more

Where otherwise dazzling basses boom and people dance until the wee hours of the morning, a pop-up restaurant has now taken up residence quite secretly. It focuses on Italian specialty cuisine and has placed the main emphasis on Italian food heritage: Mozzarella, Burrata and Co. La Tartina serves mozzarella, burrata and more at Club Bagatelle from 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The famous cheeses are presented in innovative ways and tasty combinations - sometimes salty with an anchovy arrangement or sweet tangy on blood orange carpaccio. For those who cannot decide, there is also a triple ..read more
