I recently bought a 2020 Rogue that had been sitting a while. The battery was completely dead, wouldn't take a charge. Jump start didn't work either. I installed a new battery and it still would not start, so scanned for codes. I got a bunch of codes including one for incorrect crank sensor signal. I replaced the sensor, and it still wouldn't start. I let it sit for a couple of days with the battery un-hooked. Then on the next try it started up the very first time and ran perfectly and smoothly. I thought it was fixed and turned it off. The the next day it wouldn't start again. No CELs on, but ..read more

My current issue is I bought a 12-volt voltage monitor which reads 14.6 when running until I use my iPhone holder/ wireless charger then my voltage drops to around 5.2 while my phone is charging, This causes the vehicle to show "key fob not detected" Would a battery upgrade to maybe a "yellowtop" battery help or should I get a higher output alternator or do I need both? My Rogue is only driven about 30kms a day.
I also noticed after I installed a dual dash cam last year that the Rogue shuts down all power after about 15 minutes to maintain the battery. I added an external battery pack for Das ..read more

I have a 2020 Rougewith the built in Tom Tom Navigation system. I have had built in systems in previous cars (other than Nissan) and owned several portable Garmin units and they all worked well.
The system in our Rouge send us on wild goose chases, really out of the way directions that don't make sense.
I have updated the software and maps.
A good example is the route from Tucson to Las Vegas; the Nissan system says take 8 west almost all the way to the LA area and then 15 north to Vegas.
All other systems will route us from Tucson up around Phoenix and north to Vegas.
Having lived in The LA ..read more
