For some reason the '90 FSM here seems to be missing the Theft Alarm section in EL. Is your system the same as the '89 (main and sub units under the passenger seat) or the '91 (single control unit in the passenger footwell)? The diagnostics for each are a little different. Hey, took my 2010 LE AWD to the local Nissan dealer, found out there is a VOLUNTARY RECALL by Nissan on the ABS actuator. I know my vehicle fell within the series which was being checked and changed. I am not sure if the 2nd Gen as a whole is being looked at. Check in with your local dealer and tell them you know about the Voluntary Recall on the ABS system. Thanks for the input guys. As far as my problem w my Z the alarm does nothing . No light ever, will not arm , nothing. Per shop manual checked at the harness and has power, has ground, checked all switch continuity all good. Switches checked are hood, doors, hatch, ignition accessories. With those steps passing the next step FSM states replace the module. Statistics: Posted by speedslave — Fri May 10, 2024 10:05 am ..read more

The battery lamp illuminates from an output on the internal voltage regulator. They're supposed to be failsafe, but in practice they're just usually failsafe. If it drops to 10V without lighting the lamp then it definitely sounds like a bad regulator, and the rest of your symptoms are pretty typical of a silicon regulator that's overheating. The "smart charge" wire can't completely kill output, just drop it to a minimum. So I'd say the dealer is probably right, time for a new alternator. G35 and G37 Interior, Exterior and Audio • 05 G35 Coupe Replacing upper storage cubby with audio unit

Good day.. I was wondering if anyone has ever replaced the upper storage cubby on a G35 (non nav) with a after market audio unit and touch screen? To put the screen higher in the dash for better nav.. I'm thinking a modular unit or a unit with a single DIN chassis would work. The radio / nav unit would be in red in the picture below, and the green would be a storage cubby.. Or a Double DIN storage cubby, keeping the ash tray and such.. Anybody have some pictures of this?? I’m new to the forum and sorry if this is re-hashing covered ground but I can’t seem to find an answer that fits my problem. Any help appreciated. My 2015 Murano has gone into safe mode on me three times. The first time my mechanic (non-Nissan) said it was a bad battery. I replaced it and drove over 600 miles on the interstate before going into safe mode again and battery dying. I towed it home and charged the battery. Took it to local Nissan dealer who could not duplicate the problem and computer showed no codes. I have been using a BlueDriver OBD dongle to monitor the ecm voltage. When I col ..read more

CAS on CAs are known to be problematic and you can run into weird timing issues. You probably have Tomei poncams which don't require readjustment. Float is also correct, that's a huge fuel pump. I didn't even register that when I first read your post. Statistics: Posted by Izento — Thu May 09, 2024 8:24 pm ..read more
