Hey new here but i had a problem with my accord its a 96 LX and i changed the rear to disc brakes using a ex rear, i seen some people change the proportioning valve but i didn’t change mine. I bled the brakes and it was solid when the car was off, when the car starts and i try to brake it goes limp and all the way to the floor. I replaced the master and booster thinking it was that but when i bled the system again (brake pedal felt much stronger then before when the car was off) and turned on the car it did the same thing!! is it my proportioning valve? do i need to change it, and when i was ..read more

hey folks, my antique and I are having issues, I was working on the brake light switch and bumped the main relay circuuit. patched the trace that broke, but that has not restored the starter. seems obvious to try another main relay, despiite repairing the leads on the current one Everything normal until the short on that relay, now engine will not start, starter turns. No anit-theft light in the dash. patching the broken trace did not change anything. Oh well.. try throwing another main relay? it is compromised. My current motor has over 200k miles on it. It's like to swap it out for a motor with lower milage that is original specs or if there's a V6 that is compatible that won't require much else to be swapped or modified. I've minimal work on vehicles. Oil changes, brakes pad replace, air filter change, thermostat replacement, little things like that. I am ignorant of what kind of work would be involved in going up to a V6 from a 4 cyl, but I am guessing it would involve a new transmission and various small things like the pumps and belts. P1361 tdc sensor intermittent interruption CEL on no flashing just solid on. I looked this up says its a crank positions sensor. Car starts, runs and drives, cold it sputters a bit then smooths out on acceleration.
