Flower Arranging: Christmas Florals from the Winter Garden
Join us for our annual Christmas demonstration and find out how to make a Christmas hand-tied gift bouquet, a candle centrepiece and garlands for the mantlepiece and Christmas table.
Our demonstrator this year is Aiva Veinberg, a professional florist and horticulturalist. She works sustainably using dried plant materials and foam-free and plastic-free techniques.
Come along and enjoy a glass of wine and mince pie at the reception at 7pm followed by the demo at 7:30pm.

We are pleased to announce our carefully curated sustainable Christmas Market which will be held on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th December, 10.00am to 4.30pm daily. Over 85 stallholders will be participating both indoors and outdoors. Don’t miss this wonderfully festive event!
To reduce our carbon footprint and to promote local craft workers all stall holders have passed the stringent application process and must have ethically and sustainably produced crafts and products preferably hand made in Ireland. We also have choirs, Christmas plant walks and lots more.

‘Crainn na hÉireann – Ireland’s Native Trees’ by the Irish Society of Botanical Artists opens Sunday 29th of October. The exhibition will be open every day until Sunday 12th of November at the Visitor Centre! This major project ‘Crainn na hÉireann – Ireland’s Native Trees’ was conceived two years ago with the title ‘Delighting in the Detail’.
