Hello! I’ve decided on a Dumont for my wedding watch. Will be my first “luxury” watch as I hope to add to a collection over time. I like both the steel and the two tone and am having a tough time deciding between the two. I understand the versatility in all steel but also the specific “dress” nature of a two tone for which I plan to wear this. I’ve had my rose/pink gold JUC 19 bracelet for a couple of years but have only worn it twice and regret not choosing the white gold. Are there any reputable services that facilitate jewelry trades? I’m considering checking with local (DFW) pawn shops for a possible trade with a nominal fee (however locating a 19 in WG at a local pawn shop is probably a tall order). Is my only course of action to sell privately or to RealReal etc. and then repurchase in WG? Surely, there must be someone interested in a swap—but my main concern, of course, is authenticity. The only watch I’m able to wear while I golf. It’s insanely lightweight and it doesn’t slide around or pinch my wrist. It’s as comfortable on my wrist as the socks on my feet. I’m absolutely in love with it. A true GADA. (except I think I’ll leave it home when I travel to Brazil next month. Does anyone have experience in Rio?
