...that smells worse than doing a personal hygiene check on a boar.
I'd think he was sick if I didn't know it was normal. It makes me gag. But there's been enough times when hair or hay has been stuck in there that I know it must be done...
How do you handle that horrific smell?

He bite, he scratch, he attack
I did all four, one after the other, and one needed a grease gland clean too so that was fun. They were not amused
It was more hair up there than anything, and got farted on too, in my face. With a sprinkle of two poops being pooped
( my arm was etched into by the first pigture, Bandit, the others are Basil, Teddy and Theodore)

Is it normal for them to just rack out in the open and take a nap in the middle of the day?
They've eaten twice today (it's now 1pm) and crashed after each meal. They are drinking and pooping normally.
For context, this is only their 4th day here, 2nd day in new cage so they could just be tired?
Skies are overcast so room is very shady. I assume they also respond to that sort of thing?

I hope this is family safe. This little boy was surrendered to a colleague (I'm a veterinarian) because his front limb had a nasty break. The owners wanted to euthanise him so we took him in so we could attempt front limb amputation. Today I did just that and he seems to be doing well so far! But I'll have to wait and see how he copes the next few days. Fingers crossed that he does well, then in a few weeks I'm hoping I can also neuter him so he can join my two girls.

Hello everyone! As I said in my previous post, I just got a friend for Abou! Since we are not expert at all, we decided that a male one is suitable for now. This one is three months old and the other one is 7/8 years old, I am not too worried about the bonding process because this one is pretty young so hopefully they should have little to no problem. In any case I prefer to be sure so if you guys have some advice and/or any tutorial to follow (youtube is good) it would be very much appreciated!
