An independent Ferrari Garage did a transmission fluid flush, filter change and gasket change for me. Two miles from home the car would not go into third gear and started smoking. Upon reaching home, I lifted the hood to find transmission fluid had shot up onto the engine and was dripping down onto the hot exhaust pipes. Hello Everyone! I own a 2009 Quattroporte S 4.7. The car is running great and I love it dearly. However, there is an odd little tapping noise that is coming from behind the dash/ engine Bay Area when the car is at idle. The noise usually occurs after the car is warmed up a little and drops below 1k rpm. The noise will speed up and slow down randomly.
