When I first met with Tarryn and Hywel I think I fell in love. Warm, generous and a tight-knit team, I just knew their day would be one for the books. And gosh! What a day it was. Featuring all of the love, warmth (and some happy tears!), sweeping views of the Hauraki Gulf and the most elegant of celebrations, this one is worth the scroll. Such an honour to be chosen as your wedding photographer T + H! Pinch me.

If you love the idea of an intimate wedding in a remote and beautiful setting, surrounded only by your nearest, dearest and epic views, then this one is for you! Braemar Station was the perfect spot for Jack and Emily, with the beautiful landscape inspiring Emily and Jack’s styling. Lake Pukaki and Mt Cook was the backdrop for their ceremony space, and some of the foliage used was foraged from around the station. Emily is also a creative genius and did all the decor –from the crafting of the macrame to the styling of the ceremony and reception spaces. Friends and family also pitch ..read more

Emma and Eamon eloped on a particularly wild and wet day ( we’re talking sideways New Zealand rain) but nothing can beat their beautiful and intimate little ceremony held in the most gorgeous wee cottage, warning; this day will make you go “aww”. This was a day with a difference, and one of my most favourite days in 2020! SO honoured to both photograph and be a witness to this glorious union.
Here’s some more about it in Emma’s own words.
“We decided to elope, but wanted to do it in the most beautiful way possible. We wanted to keep it very intimate, to keep our love the focus of the da ..read more

Anawhata, some people say, is one of Auckland’s best-kept ‘secrets’. And by people I mean me. Wide sweeping vistas, craggy cliffs, golden hazy light for days and the beach all to yourselves -it’s a total dreamboat. That is why I was particularly stoked when Ralph and Cath chose this as one of the spots for their pre-wedding shoot, and dang! What a combo! They made it all look so good.

My heart is still warm and fuzzy from this wee engagement session! Kate and Andre decided to sneak in an engagement shoot before their wedding day (and before New Zealand locked down to deal with our old COVID friend), and kids, I am so glad they did! The timing worked perfectly and we had the most magical time hanging out, so much laughter, so much fun! Smugglers Bay is tucked in a corner of Whangarei heads, and its intimate windswept vibe was a perfect match for the warm and earthy feels we were after. Sidenote - how gorgeous is that colour on Kate?

Lauren and Ezra both work in the creative industry and their beautiful wedding day simply oozed with that creativity and heart. From an intimate first look in a bushy little corner of Waitakere to a picnic with their bridal party to an evening ceremony at the Corban Estate Arts Centre followed by the BEST kai and dancing ( phewww that was a whole lot of words), you KNOW this day was special. Think beautiful Autumn scenes, mismatched bridesmaids, decadent bouquets and oodles of personal touches, this West Auckland wedding was one for the books.

Sarah and Josiah wed on a particularly wonderful autumn day in the green and lush Waimate North (an hour out of Whangarei). Sarah and Josiah’s wedding day was filled with thoughtful details and beautiful touches - dried roses kept from a first date, framed photos of all their grandparents and parents, a surprise second dress for dancing and so much more. Tears were shed! Hugs were shared! It was an absolute treat to photograph and I just know you’ll enjoy scrolling through their stunning wedding day.
