Sorry, the story is a bit long. Question at very end. I have 2 KVM to switch between 3 devices. Lower one is (slightly newer) DP 1.4 KVM, connects PC and other KVM to monitor. Upper one is (slightly older) DP 1.2 KVM, connects work laptop and Steam Deck to input of other KVM. It all used to work great, until I got a new laptop from work without DP. So I got a cheap UGreen USB-C hub that has a Displayport. Works well direct, works well only through lower KVM, but doesn't work through... Its a them that I have been using for years that I have changed a lot and the orginal theme it was based from isn't updated.
