My son and I spent the day shooting at one mile and 825 yards. We were shooting a .338 Big Baer (.408/.338) and a .338 Baer (about the same as the .338 Lapua just a tad faster) and a 300 Win Mag at 825 yards (ran out of elevation and had to hold for it). Might be old news to some but just in case. Nikon no longer makes scopes rifle or pistol . Which is a shame as I was a big fan of their products. Their lifetime warranty is a bust as they no longer repair them either. BUT what they will do is offer a replacement product that they do make. In my particular case one of my 6 x 18 Prostaff Nikon . This section isn't getting much traffic so let me help. Our long range hunting group harvested two bucks a 8 point at 873 yards the rifle used was a 338 edge with a berger 300 gr. vld and a 9 point at 615 yards using a 7mm mag. with a berger 168 vld. The edge has a sako action with a custom barrel and muzzle brake scope was a 8x32 nightforce nxs model.
