Hello friends,
I'm thinking of upgrading my main gaming monitor to the Lenovo G24qe-20-2022. I have a 1080p LG 144hz monitor right now but I'd love to maintain my dual display without needing to buy two 1440p 24" monitors because they're not cheap..
Questions:
How would the scaling situation be? Meaning - If I drag a browser window from one monitor to the other, will it be absurdly jarring and annoyingly rescaled? If so, can this be resolved in display settings while maintaining the 1440p res and 1080p res? Sorry if these are dumb questions, I am honestly in unfamiliar territory here, I've al ..read more

I've got an old build that uses a ryzen 3 2200g cpu and 8 gb of ram. I have some work I want to do (3d rendering and training an ai model) that requires a better gpu that what I currently have (rx570). I plan on building a pc sometime in the next 6 months to a year, so I was thinking of buying a rtx4070 and putting it in my old build to use until I upgrade the full pc. Is this a bad idea? I will upgrade a sufficient power supply for this card. Any opinions would be appreciated! Thanks.

Basically just wondering what type of CPU cooler I should get for my 7800X3D, as in liquid or air cooled, and if possible any brands that people like?

My machine is equipped with 7800X3D CPU, Gigabyte AORUS Elite AX 1.3 motherboard, 1000W EVGA PSU, Corsair Dominator 5600MT/S CL36 sticks (2x16GB). I have tried uninstalling the drivers with DDU and reinstalling them and even reinstalling the OS which made no difference.
I just can’t be bothered placing the GPU back in and running an older driver to see if the games run better with a previous driver.

Hey all.
I was thinking about selling my PC and building a new one from scratch. The question is, is it worth upgrading it on a 600-700€ budget or would the differences be negligible? I'm not interested in playing the latest AAA games; I'd just like to play my MMO's (WoW, FFXIV, ESO) with High-Ultra settings at 60 fps.
These are my current specs, for comparison:
MB: Asustek P8Z77-V LX (PCI-Express 3.0)
CPU: Intel Core I5 3570k (custom cooler, no OC atm)
Memory: 2x 8Gbs stiks DDR3
Graphics Card: Radeon RX 580 Series
Storage: SSD 500gb and HDD 500gb (forgot the brand)
Thank you very much.
