Wesley UMDR ID# 022-1202
Fostered by Nisha C.
Wesley came to us from a loving home with his brother Tucker. Wesley is a very sweet boy and will make a wonderful family pet. These dogs are intelligent, loyal, affectionate and Wesley needs a family that is willing to spend the time to continue with his training and socialization to make him an amazing family member. Wesley is approximately 10 months old and a happy, healthy boy.
Here is what Wesley’s Foster family had to say about him:

Hi Ugly Mutts,
Hope all is well, Just wanted to give an update on Maggie, we have had her as a pet for a year and she is so sweet, smart and a real character! She is doing well, and even went in the water at the beach this summer! She has made a new pup friend lately and has been teaching him to walk on the leash like a pro!
Thanks again!

We adopted a dog from you in 2014, at the time he was named Eric, and he lived in a foster home with his sister who was named Babe, we re-named him Anngus.
Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to him last week, he had cancer and was very ill, as you can imagine we are totally heart broken over this, he was only 8 gone to soon.
The foster lady may not remember him but I just wanted to let you know.
Regards

I have attached two photos to this message. The cat in the first photo is our Buster.
On December 28th, 2011, we adopted our sweet and amazing Mabel from Ugly Mutts Dog Rescue. She was fostered by Sue Dent, in Burlington, and had the name “Annie”. Her posting had only been online for an hour or so when we spotted it, just before we left for a meet and greet with a different dog at another rescue, in Guelph. Needless to say, we cancelled that appointment and went to meet “Annie”, who became our beloved Mabel.
Something, I don’t know what, compelled me to check the computer one more time that ..read more

I just wanted to thank you for 41/2 wonderful years with Cooper (aka PingPong). He was deeply loved, and it was such a shock this summer to find out he had cancer. We were heartbroken when we had to say goodbye on August 10th.

Just wanted to touch base on this, the 5th Anniversary of adopting Kiki (aka BeeGee).
It is hard to believe it has been five years already – the happiest 5 years of my life. Kiki is doing fantastic, thriving and loving life in Elliot Lake.
I only hope time slows down and the next 5 years don’t go by so quickly.
From the bottom of my heart…Thank you for all that you do ..read more
