Hi I have a 2017 Can am 450 here and it's playing up, it wont idle for long and when on the road and I ease to turn it stalls, this has got progressively worse, it started by not idling for more than 10-15 seconds. Also the oil pressure switch is leaking oil (from the wire connector not the threads) and giving a low oil pressure warning the ok if turned off and on again, I don't know if the two faults are connected. What are the advantages of burning a lot of diesel, quite slowly, running a topper, over just using a disc mower? Mower wouldnt mulch the cuttings but time would do that. Mower is faster, quite possibly more robust, leaves a tidier cut on grass which doesn’t stunt growth as much as the blunt force trauma of a topper. Any thoughts ..read more

Hi, got a problem with my 7740 sle - 'K' reg, 1993 pre quad-mod - engage gear, lift clutch pedal - transmission engages (jerkily?) and drives for a couple of seconds before drive drops out and error code E22 comes up. My manual says E22 is current at PWM valve too low? PWM valve faulty? I heard that its a bugger to do on the pre quad-mod unlike the later ones where its easy? Worth trying to do it myself or get it trailered to the dealer? All advice gratefully received. Thanks ..read more
