I’m looking to adopt an older brother for my Husky M38 and found this 1919 M96 with Finnish SA stamp and it looks to be in great shape…maybe too nice. Based on these pictures, what say the Swedish gurus? Has it been refinished stateside, arsenal refurb, thoughts? Thanks much ..read more

Can anyone tell me exactly what this rifle is? It's dated 1941, has the angled commercial crown proofs, Bent bolt, not drilled and tapped, stock disc (if original) states it's a G/41B . Frankonia of Germany import stamp and no other import marks. Thank you ..read more

I picked up a savagely bubba'ed M94 Carbine M96 for $100 a while ago.
Bore is in good condition.
Stock is a lost cause because it was sporterized
That's just the least of the issues.
Entire rear sight assembly is missing and was replaced with a Crosman Williams sight.
Barrel has two screw holes threaded into it with a weaver rail. From the looks of it, for accommodate a scout scope.
Magazine follower was grinded down so the bolt can push...

I have a M94 sporterized by my Grandfather (God bless him) 50+ years ago, in excellent condition with all matching S/Ns (1904 Carl Gustafs). He fitted the barreled action & bolt to an aftermarket hunting stock, but did not drill & tap it - which I don't want to do either. I've been trying for a few years to find an original furniture set, even though the S/Ns won't match the barreled action and bolt I have. I've searched the various milsurp resellers online and set up GB saved searches...

I have this 1917 m94 carbine and that has no proof marks or numbers on the barrel.
It has this diamond pattern where the original marks may have been scrubbed off , Not sure if that diamond pattern is used to make an ( x ) meaning a rejected barrel? The rifle is a mixmaster of parts , only 1 of the bands and the bolt release match the receiver and the bolt is not numbered with just a crown mark. There is a plaque on the side with a name, date and "peers from f3" . The headspace is good...

I had a.long time vow that I would only collect Swedish weapons from 1860 to modern times. Well, so much for that. I crossed the line and landed with both feet. There was just too many interesting items that I just couldn't resist such as this lovely classic Pistol m/1738 för manskap vid kavalleriet.. It was a cavalry pistol for its time and got about everything right. It had a long production and service life over six decades from 1738 to 1800 with approximately 15,000 examples being...
