Nice Krag! Krags are wonderful shooters. Mine does exceedingly well with cast bullets. Mine likes the Lyman 314299 sized to .313. I didn't want to respond to your post until I had a chance to slug my bore and answer correctly. So I've had the chance to slug it and what I discovered shocked me. I've read about very oversized bores on these rifles but that's not what I discovered with mine. The barrel specs out as .304" diameter in the grooves and .286 across the lands.
