Up for sale is a very nice example of a National Postal Meter M1 Carbine from their 3rd serial number block. These NPM carbines had a very low production rate and original surviving samples are very difficult to obtain. The rear of the receiver is marked; "NATIONAL/POSTAL METER/4220601" and the front section of the barrel is marked "UNDERWOOD/8-43" followed by a Flaming Cannonball. Hi, I am looking for someone who makes bayonet grips for an 1888 pattern bayonet, 2nd type. I have a bayonet marked to the Princess Louise Dragon Guards A Squadron that has a rack number only 2 away from my PLDG ASq Long Lee Metford. The problem is that it's missing the grips.
