When Will Rates Drop?

Historically Mortgage Rates follow behind inflation. When Inflation is up, the Mortgage rates will go up afterwards. When Infation goes down, the mortgage rates go down as well. There is usually a bit of a delay. The good news is, Inflation has gone down. Mortgage rates are still up. Historically, this would be when they follow inflation by going down.  However, no one knows what will happen. The best advice I can give is do not try to time the market but keep an eye on what contributes to it and work with great people to help you make the best with the highs and the lows of the market as ..read more

We love to sell beautiful homes in Lawton, Oklahoma. This home at 7612 SW Cherokee Avenue is one of the best this year. Located in Crystal Hills Subdivision, it is close to the Target shopping center, Fort Sill, and Goodyear. The granite counters and custom tile work really make the rooms pop. The hard surface flooring in the more traveled areas of the house help keep the space easy to maintain. A big yard is perfect for a backyard bbq with a cozy back patio. You don't want to miss this.  Check out the video at https://youtu.be/34SehSo5iBo ..read more

Mortgage Rates Timing

Mortgage Rates Will Come Down, It’s Just a Matter of Time This past year, rising mortgage rates have slowed the red-hot housing market. Over the past nine months, we’ve seen fewer homes sold than the previous month as home price growth has slowed. All of this is due to the fact that the average 30-year fixed mortgage rate has doubled this year, severely limiting homebuying power for consumers. And, this month, the average rate for financing a home briefly rose over 7% before coming back down into the high 6% range. But we’re starting to see a hint of what mortgage in ..read more

What does it Look like to close on a house? We meet at the Title company. They will ask for your ID. They make a copy for their records.  We then are shown to an office where we get to look over a lot of documents.  These documents are the settlement statement that shows the final numbers, the loan application to re-sign, the mortgage and note for your loan, tax documents, and disclosures.  After signing documents, we will wait for the seller to sign their documents and bring the keys. When all the documents are signed they will be submitted to the lender for a final review.&nbs ..read more
