I have what I think is a Glasshutte Tutima Fliegerchronograph, it has the serial number on the back of the case (200979). It's currently at a repairer being assessed as it is pretty knackered, so I can't see any internal details.
Can any one tell me if there is a resource where I can trace any details about this watch with only the serial number to go on? My father served in Burma during WWII and I believe that is where he got it, but I can't really see how as I don't think there was a great Luftwaffe presence there.
Sadly I can't post pictures unless I can embed them.

Hello,
I recently purchased a Luminox 3252, and everything on the watch is great except one thing. The hour hand seems to have some lag to it. For example: let’s say the time is 4:25PM….the hour hand on the watch is still in the range of hour 3. Instead of looking like 4:25PM, the watch nearly looks like it’s reading 3:25PM. Does this make sense? Any thoughts?

I hope this is the correct forum and sub-topic. I need help identifying a watch.
Among some inherited items is a watch apparently worn by my Grandfather as a minesweeper in the Navy during WWII.

I include a link to a picture of the face, which has the only identifying lettering on it, which says "aviation".
I'm not much interested in whether this is worth anything, it's worth is purely sentimental, but it would be nice to indeed kno ..read more

Hi everyone!
The above is the shredded and battered movement of a trench watch once worn and owned by a family member who during the Great War served in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. Back lid is engraved with his name and regimental details.
Sadly the watch has been greatly abused by various family members in the past 100+ years and is now basically a ruin. I am sure several parts are missing. Movement is bent, dirty and battered and the face doesn't look much better.
I think repair is out of the question, but I was told it would be possible to exchange the m ..read more

Greetings to all,
I am here for searching more information / know how about Grana watch. Its my first experience with “dirty dozen” watch, so I would like to ask for opinion of more experience folks…
I found these watch in bundle as a heritage.
My “observations” about Grana watch:
- In current shape /setup, they are not wrist watch and nether pocket watch due to “crown” location on right side…
- Watch case is from my opinion in better shape than rest of watch (watch face, glass etc). In ..read more
