Hi all, I picked up a model year 1990 cr125r, with 89 build date so it’s got a 89 year engine. The stator plate is cracked in 2 spots and bent. There are no direct replacement parts available and was hoping that someone might have some info if another year/model part will work on the bike, or am I just gonna have to try and fix the plate and make it work? Hey guys my young fella has a 2001 rm 125, last race developed an oil leak coming from directly below the carby from the centre case join.. I was hoping for just a gasket but am now thinking it may be pressurising the bottom end.. it is enough oil coming out after a 13 minute enduro lap that it cleans a path so to speak. Hi all I have a Mountfield petrol hedge trimmer that won't start. When I pull the cord it only comes out a short way (around 1 foot) and stops. However, if I remove the spark plug then I can pull it much further. I can't see a spark but I am not sure if I am doing that bit correctly. When I bought the item I was told that the blades may be seized up but I can move them by hand after lubricating without dismantling. All help appreciated. Paj ..read more

Hello, I wonder if someone with good knowledge can cast mind over these pics of outboard engine and brief diagnostic info? It was bought cheap with no known history. It has good compression and runs OK but was a bit smokey. We dumped can of power tune in carbs to clean it up a bit which produced loads of smoke while burning through, however after 20-30mins of running in a bucket the amount of smoke reduced compared to running power tune through but it left the engine producing much more... Hello. Have a jetting question I hope someone can help me w. Have an 88 250r. 68.5mm piston. OEM carb. Prob is that it's a bear to start when cold. When started it idles ..revs ..runs great and easy to start when warm. Just a pain when cold. Iv changed pilot jet from 38-50. Sometimes it starts w 3 kicks. Sometimes 15. Just can't seem to find the right size. Anyone else have this issue or know any other tricks to make this easier to start? Thanks in advance ..read more
