Revit Users, I was trying to figure out if you can put in a pre-adjusted height in the crop box for a SECTION VIEW? Every time I run the command for this particular job that has a few floors the section box is populated with similar to a 20 floor crop region. I can just adjust, but if there is a way to populate a smaller crop region that would save me a little time. Any kind of feed back would be a big help and greatly appreciated. Hi you guys. I m working at fire detection family, but i can't do the same mask at the annotation i've done in the outlets family. In the outlets family i used a region mask to hide my conduits that pass near the annotation, this way i can show my symbol just right in the floor plan sheet. I had a louver that was not showing properly in a section cut within a project, and I couldn't figure it out, so I downloaded another model from Greenheck. Ran into the same issue. Moved it to a new project with almost nothing in it and created sections (one section then another copied/pasted aligned same place & flipped) and had the same issue (pic 1). Hello. I am facing an issue with the piping systems and colors of pipe fittings, In Revit I have modeled my plumbing model and assigned piping systems to all pipes like sanitary, vent, storm etc. but after exporting to Navis I observed that the piping system and color of some pipe fittings changed. you can see in below images. 1st image is Revit and 2nd one is Navis image. In Revit for my sanitary pipe, I have sanitary pipe fitting with pink color. But in Navis works it changed to storm drainpipe fitting with brown color. Hi all, I am fairly new to Revit and CAD design, but I am working on a project running a bunch of pipe, and I want to have welded connections to tees and elbows, but flanges on all valves. Having said that, I have already ran hundreds of feet of piping and input hundreds of valves on said piping. The only work around that we have come with so far is to click on the pipe and change it to my flanged pipe type, and then delete the valve, connect the pipe and then re-insert the valve and it will put flanges on either side of the valve and keep the elbows and tees unflanged.
