Earlier this year, we updated blog readers on the new format for our network. A network that focused on socials rather than lectures and workshops. Since the changes, we have successfully been running many face to face meetings every two weeks in local venues and pubs. The locations sometimes change, but that is all part of the new way forward. I think it is fair to say that the LMN members who attended BMC 2023 had a fantastic time. Four of us were able stay the entire weekend and more members were also able to attend individual days over the weekend. While most members had been before, we also had a member visit for the first time. The members were able to meet regularly to catch up for drinks and food, while having the freedom to attend any events, shows or lectures as we wished as individuals. The LMN network is gearing up for BMC 2023! Many of our network is attending for the full weekend, and others visiting for select days. The club recently announced its full line up of events for the first two quarters of 2023. Our second event of 2023 has proved popular in the past and our second "Cup and Ball" night will be hosted again by Adam Edgeley. Thanks to all our members for starting off our series of 2023 events on a high. We had a good LMN turnout to review 2022, which was hosted by LMN founder Scot Jerram. Members all had an opportunity to answer and discuss questions posed by Scot. Various topics that included favourite new effects, best live magic show, best TV/video performance etc. After the meeting, we had a good social with members performing routines.
