St. Michael Albertville senior Belle was one of my favorite sessions of the year! I photographed her older brother Ethan a few years ago and was delighted to visit their property along Lake Charlotte again for Belle’s photos. Andrew, Jenn and I met up on a beautiful Spring morning in front of Aster Cafe in the St. Anthony Main area of Minneapolis. We started our session at some of my favorite locations along the river, then headed into the North Loop to a few of their favorite date locations. Elsies bowling alley makes a special appearance as well as Fletcher’s Ice Cream & Cafe. I’m delighted to share Minneapolis senior Emerson’s photos on the blog today! Minnehaha Falls was a perfect first location for our morning together. St. Anthony Main was our second location (Emerson added some extra time to her session so that we could use both spots!) and was beautiful as usual! I met with Audrey on a beautiful evening in August for her senior photoshoot. Audrey is a senior at Buffalo High School but we decided to shoot in Monticello, MN for a change of scenery. I’m SO glad we did! Even though it’s just one town away from Buffalo, I’d never shot in Monticello and was delighted with the options. We started at a park along the river and then zipped over to a mural a few minutes away, then to another nearby park. Ella, her mom, sister, friend and I gathered in the St. Anthony Main area of Minneapolis on a picture-perfect October day for her senior session. The Destination Wedding of my Dreams… I am delighted on this chilly January day to share a slice of heaven here on the blog! Last March, Jimmy and Amanda invited me to photograph their tropical destination wedding in the Guanacaste Province of Costa Rica on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. My family and I stayed in the beach village of Playa Junquillal at the then Junquillal Eco Resort (now rebranded to Tides Oceanfront Resort,) which was where the bride and groom held their reception. It was short, it was sweet, it was perfect. Alex & Justine tied the knot last year under the Stone Arch Bridge in the Mill ruins area. They spent the beginning of the day getting ready at Hewing Hotel in Minneapolis, and we took advantage of that area for portraits of them + their fur babies. A classic, beautiful morning session in downtown Buffalo, MN with senior Tatum. I am becoming a huge fan of shooting in the morning – the light is something special!
