Building an outback fitness empire with Cindy Kempton
This episode emulates literally every single thing this podcast is about. Shining light on a woman, who ever so humbly, quietly and modestly has built an impressive business from the same core values I personally feel fuelled by every single day.
From the honourable qualities that come from growing up in rural Western Australia, to going toe to toe against the, (seemingly) impossible as a woman in business in the literal, most remote corners of Australia, this is an episode that will inspire you and warm your heart just as it has mine.Cindy ..read more

My lessons totally worth knowing for 2023
Look I learnt some stuff in the last year, as did we all. Are my reflections really ‘that’ profound and worthy of sharing with the world? Maybe not.
But look, it feels pretty self-righteous to say but I did have some significant wins and I feel like I’m allowed to say that because I have had many years of really… not winning at all. So, I get a free pass to preach right?
All jokes aside there is comfort in the normality of day to day storytelling and the lessons that come with it. There are profound moments that come from the most common of daily trag ..read more

Look, don’t snob this episode off because you ‘think’ you don’t need SEO or that it’s too hard.
It’s not and I’m ready to resort to bullying if that's what it takes to get small business on board with learning, understanding and bloody well implementing SEO. Or as I like to call it, becoming friends with Google.
As a business owner, I can assure you, there is no one you want in your corner more ....than Google! Because even though you have a fancy schmancy website.. this doesn’t always mean it can be easily found. Shocker right?
So in this episode I speak to the OG of SEO and one of my favouri ..read more

Money mindset with the world’s most ‘not boring’ accountant - Diana Todd
Diana Todd is rapidly becoming a bit of a celebrity over here in Western Australia for so many reasons. I know, how does a tax accountant become a celebrity?
Well you’ll have to listen to find out but it wont take you long.
Firstly Diana shares her own personal story of moving across the world, enduring her own personal tragedy and then embarking out on a whole new career path.
If you’re not inspired, I’ll eat my hat.
Money mindset is kind of in ‘fashion’ you might say. So why does Diana stand out from the rest? Wel ..read more

This is what turning 40 looks like
I know. It’s so hard to believe I’m 40 now. But I’m doing ok, don’t worry.
Actually 40 couldn’t come at a better time coming out of the worst 2 years of my life. 40 is a milestone for us all and I’m not special. But I wanted to share with you what it looks like for me and how I’ve chosen to mark the occasion.
I think there is comfort in hearing other people’s stories of life’s challenges and to know you are not alone.
I kept thinking I needed what I like to call a ‘basement story’ before I could talk about ‘how far I’ve come’. And a ..read more

Not gonna lie, this is my first 3 way! Well in a podcast anyway and let me tell you... it was gooood!
I use to loathe the word ‘collaboration’ and I still kinda do. But there are 2 things I know to be true and golden when it comes to growing a business.
1. The power is in the connections and relationships we make. So. Much. Power. With our clients, our peers in the industry and our teams. Solid relationships are the holy grail to success. Which is why I show up for live events (yes in-person) over and over and over.
2. There are 3 ways to be seen in business and that is; paid, organic and part ..read more

My biggest fan girl moment; talking SEO with Neil Patel.
Having Neil Patel on my podcast is the equivalent of any woman on the planet having Beyonce show up to sing at their birthday party.
And whilst I’m normally one for theatrics, in this instance I’m actually serious.
The Wall Street Journal calls him on the most influential marketers on the web, Forbes says he is one of the top 10 marketers, and Entrepreneur Magazine says he created one of the 100 most brilliant companies. He was recognised as a top 100 entrepreneur under the age of 30 by President Obama but most importantly is the creato ..read more

As I sat on the tractor going around in circles, sinking a few tinnies with my brother, we got to talking about the local community we grew up in.
A very small town, like many other in rural and regional Australia, that’s survival is weighted on the participation of the community of which it resides in.
Without community and community spirit these towns die. And that’s not an over dramatisation but actual reality. And as far as I’m concerned, the same can be said for small business.

Ahead of the curve conquering teenage mindset with Claire Eaton
There really is something in this episode for everyone. As a mother of twin girls entering teenage years, I was psyched to have this chat with Claire to delve into the world of teen mental health.
As a woman in business, I was equally pumped to uncover how Claire made the pivot from school teacher to mindset coach for youth and parents, author and speaker. Well, not only did she pivot but she essentially became an early adopter and a ‘trail blazer’ in the youth mental health space.
This is a juicy episode and I was delighted to f ..read more
