G'day,
Our 8730 F.W.A Ford loses brake pressure after a couple of days of no use and then the pedal sinks to the floor- no sponginess or softness- just gone. After a couple of hundred pumps on the pedal full and complete braking is restored. The pedal is then solid and does not slowly sink under pressure. If the tractor is used regularly, say every couple of hours then the brakes remain solid. Once it sits for a couple of days then they disappear again. There are no visible leaks, the system...

1983 FORD 1900. Is there a way to secure the PTO Lifting Arm's? Using an attachment like the Rake is fine as you have the sway/free play, but when using the Trailer Hitch (just purchased) to move my camper the camper sways side to side with the lifting arms. I want to be able to keep the arms from swaying when moving camper. There are turnbuckles hooked to some chain links and I thought by turning them in/out it would tighten the arms...but will it? Is there a way to do this or am I just...

I just purchased a Ford 3000 at a sale yesterday. Ran great, forward/reverse, sent son to pick it up later and it would not start. They used a jump box to mstart and load the tractor. After arriving home, the tractor would not start so it could be unloaded. I figured weak battery after being starting repeatedly all day at sale. I put the charger on it overnigght. This morning I turn the key and nothing. It has lights, dash works, just no attempt to even start. Where should I look first? It...

Steering got hard, lost fluid, and I found a leak from the seal where the pitman arm attaches to the steering sector. (Will get and post pics tomorrow if wanted, dark now). Both sides were leaking so I replaced the seals and felt washers on both sides. Refilled the power steering, which was empty, cranked it up, and turned the wheel while filling till it was full. No more sector leak. But it started leaking pretty hard from what appears to be a vent on the steering mechanism body. Loose cap...

Tractor belonged to my father in law who recently passed. I get confusing info and am not a expert by any means. Looks and feels like a 3910 no drum brakes on back internal and a 3 cylinder diesel. Think it was put together in Michigan by the C code but really don’t know from the numbers the horsepower or...
