Kansas City Interstates have become more dangerous due to the number of drivers who are driving recklessly aggressive. Below are some insights as to what is at work in leading drivers to drive more aggressively followed by two things that might help reverse the trend.
New Universe of Roadway Risk
In the past, it was estimated that about 1-5% of the drivers on the road at any given time were exhibiting some type of aggressive driving behavior. Now, some driving safety experts estimate that 15-20% of the drivers are engaging in dangerous driving habits that open the door for v ..read more

Much of my work as a personal injury lawyer has been dedicated to helping people recover from a serious injury- a sudden onset of injury that requires extended medical treatments and rehabilitation.
While the medical recovery is always the priority in a case involving a serious injury, the legal recovery is important. This is especially true in cases where the injury results in longer-range consequences.
In handling a wide variety of cases over 30 years, I have gained an elevated understanding on the loss of quality of life associated with a serious injury. Beyond the pain, discomfort, and p ..read more

Frequently I am involved in cases where a person has suffered a head injury and is eventually diagnosed with “MTBI†or mild traumatic brain injury. As a personal injury lawyer, I normally see the MTBI diagnosis when the injured person continues to experience symptoms associated with head injury like headaches, dizziness, loss of concentration, etc. I rarely see a MTBI diagnosis where the symptoms from the concussion have resolved.
Continuing symptoms are something to be concerned about. In fact, some experts think it is inaccurate to classify any type of head injury as “mildâ€.

When it comes to obtaining a fair, full, and maximum injury settlement for my injured client, loss of quality evidence is a key factor. Here are 3 categories of evidence I focus on when building my case.
Sudden Onset of Injury
The important evidence detailing an injured person’s loss in quality of life includes the following:
Evidence of the immediate disruption of life, including pain, suffering, emergency medical treatment, hospitalization, loss in freedom of movement, and the anxieties related to a sudden onset of injury.
Evidence of on-going pain and physical restrictions, including the ..read more

Given high inflation, it is probably no surprise that the cost of being involved in a motor vehicle collision has increased substantially over the past year, especially if you have been injured. But it is not just the financial impact of a car accident that is contributing to higher costs.
The reality is that, across the nation, there are more dangerous drivers causing more violent collisions. These types of collisions often result in more serious injury thereby increasing the overall cost of the collision.
In addition to medical expense and loss of income, one of the most significant costs ..read more

I concentrate my law practice in representing individuals who have suffered a head, neck, and other serious injury in motor vehicle collisions caused by reckless drivers. A significant number of my cases involve head trauma resulting in a diagnosed concussion.
My responsibility is to obtain a fair, full, and maximum legal recovery. Here are some important things I think about in every concussion cases.
Concussion Diagnosis
