After a year and a half of wedding planning Margo and Cameron celebrated their love with a Studio D2D wedding surrounded by family and friends. Last weekend I had the honor of witnessing James and Katrina’s wedding and reception at John Ball Zoo. Their perfectly imperfect love story and resulting nuptials was sweet. James and Katrina met on e-harmony, and had their first date only 2 weeks before the Pandemic lockdown. Due to that e-harmony algorithm and the Holy Spirits intervention these two knew within a few dates that they could marry each other, but they had a wild year and half of dating ahead of them. This past weekend I had the privilege of celebrating AGAIN with Zoey & JJ in their Rockford Mi Wedding Celebration. Last weekend our team had the privilege of photographing Katie & Mikey’s backyard lake wedding. The lake house in Gobles has been in Katie’s family for a few generations and has sentimental value to her. Last year Mikey added to that value when he proposed on the boat on the lake. We recently had the privilege to celebrate with Jennifer and Josh almost exactly one year after they got married the first time in 2020. These two invited me to capture their elopement last year which consisted of only myself, the minister, and their parents. WELL let me tell you this year they planned a celebration that no one could forget! This past Saturday Taylor and Nathan tied the knot in an intimate and casual Michigan Backyard Wedding. It was a privilege to be part of their celebration. This wedding was laid back and and a lot of diy with a let’s have a good time and get these two married kinda feel. The beautiful bride did her own hair and makeup, and her family and friends contributed by set up decor, planting wildflower and sunflower fields, pouring cement dance floors, and even refilling the drink and snack stations. This past Saturday Amanda and Mike made it official in a Sunny Brook Country Club Wedding. The couple was set up at the wedding of a previous Historia Couple Jen and Doug! Mike and Amanda had been in the bridal party and this wedding and were pushed onto the dance floor by another bridal party member who said she thought they’d make a cute couple.
