I have a 2003 x585. Around 800 hours. 48" shaft drive blower. Just got a bunch of snow. Worked the tractor and blower pretty hard. Today I went to blow more snow and it barely dribbled out of the chute at high rpm. Shear pins good. A little play in auger flights. With a little effort I could reach in and turn the impeller by hand. Hydraulic oil level good. Chain doesn't slip. Gear box? Hydrostatic tranny? Sheared keyway? Advice? Thanks in advance. Have a weird one here. Had someone tell me their Z915B would not crank but just click. Figured they had weak battery, but they wanted me to look at a fuse. By the picture they sent me it looked like the fuse that was blown (burned away) was a 20 or 30 A fuse riding a purple wire to the solenoid (best I could tell from the pic). New member here. I have a 110 model that is in pretty rough shape. My wife's ex didn't' spend any time maintaining it. Hood has chunks out of the corner, tie rod is broken, doesn't run well. Runs and then dies. We used it up until last year at my mother in laws. Last mowing of the year, the ball broke off of the end of the tie rod and it started not running correctly. Technical question on a RH with hydraulic lift (1966). Would the Kohler engine tag be on the top tin over the cylinder head or on the side of the flywheel shroud? I have 3 1966 tractors both of my manual lifts have the engine tag on the top tin, and the hydraulic lift tractor has it on the side of the flywheel tin.
