I have a 1939 John Deere B with a Wico-X magneto and I'm having idle/running issues. I have confirmed impulse happens at TDC however that seems to throw of running timing. When I got it to run it was up around 40 degree's and as I tried to move that down, now I can't even get it started. I have verified the cam lines match at TDC and I am getting spark. One engine in front, one in back, both side mounted and belt driven. Has two tall John Deere branded radiators. Here is several pictures of an unknown John Deer Tractor. At least one engine is a Hercules , which was used in the 55 and 65 Combine, but None of the pictures I saw only looked anything like this. Obviously, this is missing alot of parts, but still. Hello I have an 830 Diesel 3 Calendar I Clean the sediment bowl on the left pump.Also put a new fuel filter. I I bled the system have fuel coming out of the blader on the side of the injection pump. Crack the Fittings at the injectors. I cannot get fuel to them.I've tried by pumping it and By turning the engine over the fuel shut off arm is in the open position. Can anyone tell me anything about hydraulic oil getting into the crankcase on a John Deere 40? My hydraulic reservoir is always going down; no outside dripping and I just chacked my crankcase oil level and it is way over full.
