Got a couple of jobs booked shortly wher I’ll need my pressure washer. It’s a Jetmac 7hp Loncin 15LPM unit
It’s been laid up all winter. Filled with oil. All
Linkages oiled etc.
Started up to warm the oils for an oil change started fine. Had already back-flushed the pump as last time it was laid up it didn’t want to self-prime.
All fine (ish) but low on power. Press the trigger and I’m getting pressure but nothing like I should. when I release the trigger the pump gives a little...

I was starting to think that I might have to give up trying to find a paint stripper that effectively removes stain from wooden decking.
I've spent a small fortune on Ronseal's and it definitely does not do what it says on the tin. Doesn't even come close. I've tried various other branded and own brand products, e.g. Nitromors, No Nonsense, B & Q etc. They might be OK if given a longer dwell time but none of them are of any use to make deck renovation/ refurbishment jobs profitable and done...

I've been asked to remove from graffiti from a rendered wall and I'll be totally honest it sounds like a lot of hassle to be able to remove? Anyone had the joy of this this before and if so the process and if it was worth it? My head is already saying to leave it alone, though I'm always up for a task and some experience that might help me expand ..read more

A customer has asked me about cleaning their driveway. This driveway is painted black and I've never cleaned one thats been painted before. It was professionally done as the paint is at least 4 years old and there is no wear on it from cars. Anybody had any experience with this? My plan is to do a corner first to check that I don't strip any paint ..read more

Been having problems with my B&S washer lately, cutting out when hot & not restarting until it cools down.
Jobs I’ve done on it today after it let me down half way through a job.
Carb off & cleaned all jets, fuel tank off & flushed & cleaned fuel filter, check for good spark…it has, air filter clean.
Oil levels all good.
Reassemble the parts & straight away if fired up and sounded so much better.
But as before I get an occasional kick back from the pull cord when pulling, it aggressively...
