Most people who tour on bicycles, use relatively normal bikes, with racks and panniers added. People who plan to travel many thousands of kilometers, over a long period of time, usually buy expensive touring bikes. Many people believe the best touring bikes are made in Germany. Some people fly somewhere, go bike touring for a relatively short time, then fly home. Most of these people buy relatively inexpensive bikes. Following are videos by a bikepacker. He met some people who appeared friendly, and he spent some time with them. While he was not watching, they stole $400 from his luggage, and cut his rack. He suspects, they were planning to rob him again when he traveled. Hi guys this is my first post as a member on here and hope I can get a little advice ,,, anyway , I wasn't very well last few years with a surprise brain tumour we got that sucker out ok an im still alive and kicking but ive been wanting to set off on a bit of adventure to gather myself now that im fit enough . Hey, i am planing to move to texas for some quality time. with my bike. I am currently at new york. Struggling to find a bike shipper. I want to travel as since last 4-5 month i haven't travel.
