I had the privilege of spending a sunny February afternoon with M + T at the Detroit Foundation Hotels’ Apparatus Room! We started our session by getting drinks at the bar while talking about how M + T fell in love.   The most beautiful day filled with sunshine and love for Lizzy + Spence! The atmosphere and intimacy of Mackinac Island - the lake, the bikes, the history, the nature - makes a wedding there so special. One of my favorite parts of their celebration was seeing their loved all stay on the island for the entire weekend. The celebration truly begins on that Friday evening as guests take the ferry in.   A giant disco ball, the prettiest drinks + vintage inspired outfits for H + V’s engagement session the Candy Bar in Detroit. Watching the Barbie movie a few days before this session inspired me to embrace all of the muted pink tones of the bar.   E + N have the gift of making every person they meet feel like their best friend. Their energies, their chemistry, their music taste. Truly, the life of the party. I do not think that there was a moment during the night that they weren’t on that checker board dance floor. Shepherd’s Hollow + their magical pine trees were the most iconic backdrop for this day.
