"I've spent most of my life not knowing what right was supposed to feel like. And then I met you and everything changed. You make me feel right." - I already knew Colleen & Rich were awesome, but when I saw a Schitt's Creek quote displayed at their wedding, I knew they were my type of people! Cheers to a lifetime of love, happiness and learning how to fold in the cheese. ;-) Vendor Team: Photography: Brittany Dunbar Photography Venue: Springfield Manor Catering: Carriage House Catering Day of Coordinator: DMV Weddings & Events Video: Thomas Lee Video Florals: Blossom & Basket Bouti ..read more

If there's anything the past few years have taught us, it's how precious life is. Through the pandemic I've taken time to assess what's really important and Covid has been a good reminder that life is too short to be taken seriously. In the spirit of that, I'm prioritizing play and living in the moment more. Family creek photo sessions are a perfect way to do that and let your inner child out to play ..read more

It's no lie that everyone was excited to see 2020 go and welcome in 2021. Just like the rest of the world I was super hopeful for a Covid vaccine, and personally excited for my super line up of celebrations this year, starting with Ally & Mike's moody winter wedding! If you remember from last fall, they're my couple who's engagement sesh should totally be on the cover of a Taylor Swift album. Aside from their boho vibes that make me want to replay "Folklore" on Spotfiy over and over, they're so fun to be around, have one of the sweetest love stories, and are just two of the most genuine pe ..read more

Have you ever seen a couple unearth a bottle of whiskey at their wedding?! If not you haven't met a couple as cool as Kim and Michael. The two were referred to me by Kim's brother and sister-in-law who I've had the pleasure of photographing for 4 years now (thanks, Tim & Mairin!) When Kim and Michael asked me if I would climb a mountain for their engagement session I knew we were going to be a good match! These two are the perfect blend of sweet and goofy and when you're around them they just radiate such a fun and positive energy! Needless to say I've been looking forward to their wedding ..read more

Elegant Washington D.C. Wedding

Malwina and Nate met working at The National Archives, so they felt it was only appropriate to marry where it all began: Washington DC. Their wedding was one of the most creative weddings I've ever been a part of! We started at the Riggs Hotel in Penn Quarter before heading over to St.Matthew's Catholic Church where the couple shared vows with readings in both English and Polish to represent the joining of their two families and cultures. The rest of the afternoon was spent playing tourist! We took a trolley to several of the iconic spots in the city, starting with the War Memorial where they ..read more

Snowy Forest Engagement Session | Maryland Wedding Photographer

I was born in July so naturally I don't like being cold. Ok honestly my birthday probably has nothing to do with it, but if you've ever touched my hands you know I'm constantly cold, even in the summertime. When I don't have to leave the house (which is a lot this year), I pretty much live in sweats and fuzzy socks under a mountain of blankets (anyone else?!). BUT, when it is cold I wish it was just always snowing! As much as I love warm weather, there's just something magical about the snow. And really is there anything more romantic than celebrating your love surrounded by the beauty of a sn ..read more

I am obsessed with everything about this engagement session! The outfits. The colors. The location. The lighting. The sunset. The energy. The couple! Shannon and Tincen really brought it for their engagement session! First - their outfits were on point - seriously how beautiful is her emerald dress?! Second - their location choice is right up my alley! I love history and Baltimore just has so much of it! Their outfits popped perfectly off of the industrial backdrop, which was just filled with rich natural colors which are my jam! Next, we couldn't have asked for better weather in December! It ..read more

Laurel & Trevor | Industrial Chic Wedding at the Assembly Room in Baltimore City

Laurel and Trevor originally planned a spring wedding, but they experienced the same fate as many other couples due to wed in 2020 when Covid hit right before their wedding. Covid has tested all of us in so many ways, but especially for those forced to get creative and modify wedding plans in a pandemic. Hearing them read their vows to each other and watching them tear up, you could just feel the love in the room. You could feel the tight bond between them, and you could tell that that bond is even stronger now for all they've experienced together. Remember that weddings may have to be resched ..read more

Written in the Stars was the theme of Dani and Tyler's intimate wedding and that couldn't have been more perfect for these two. As a wedding photographer I've had the pleasure to experience the love of so many couples over the years, and Dani and Tyler's bond stands out as one that I truly believe was written in the stars. In the Zodiac world I'm a Cancer so I'm naturally a feeler - I cry at almost every wedding and I wear my heart on my sleeve. This wedding had me crying every other minute because of how much they were crying! I could just feel the compassion and genuine care these two share ..read more
