Hi guys! I have a simple question.. I designed a course with times, date, location, icons, and added text content, images, etc., according to the space, whether vertical or horizontal. When the design is finished, and my company wants to modify, add, or delete it from anywhere within the form through PowerPoint? I have not tried PowerPoint. What is the correct way to send the file to PowerPoint when it does this? Because I see that the use is simple for them and they do not want Adobe Illustrator. What are your tips? Thank you all! submitted by /u/Graphic_Design101 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hi All, I need to vectorise an image into approx. 12 separate colours for litho printing. My go-to would be image trace but I’m interested to know if I can use a different method for higher detail. Can’t share the image unfortunately but if you imagine the artwork has a style similar to an oil painting. Thanks for any advice! submitted by /u/Giffnt [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hello! I'm looking for a solution to a problem that I have been trying to solve for the last few days. I am doing some work for a client where there will be around 50-100 invites or mailers with the same design on them but each design needs to have unique name, address or phone number changed. It has been pretty time consuming to change them all by hand and I am looking for a quicker way. I have looked into the variables and variable methods of exporting a CSV file but this doesn't work well for me because I need to have the design on multiple art-boards and not just one dynamic one where I c ..read more

Why do the graphics created with the grid tool have so many black backgrounds? This is a resource I found, but it has a lot of black backgrounds. I don't want to use overlay mode. Is there any way to remove the black background?

How can I create sculpted / weathered carve effect

I'm trying to get the effect as shown in the picture below on Illustrator. I am planning to create a standard image with sharp lines and then would like to convert those lines such they look like they've been engraved/cut into stone. Any suggestions on how I can do this? (Attached image is blown up so resolution isn't really that great, but I think you'll get the idea) submitted by /u/orderplaced [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
