Three-man team end decade-long gold drought Last month, Canadian teams competed internationally in ITF team events. The decade-long gold drought in the team events was brought to an end by a trio of M75 competitors who took to the courts in Antalya, Turkey. The three-man team—hand-selected by Tennis Canada—was Tim Griffin, Chris Burr, and Alberta’s own Joe Forrayi. Tennis Canada has opened entry for the U18 FISCHER JUNIOR NATIONALS. As stated in the 2023-24 Junior Competitive Structure (pg 10): “For U18 Junior Nationals, Tennis Canada utilize a merit-based entry system based on National Rankings which decides player eligibility per each province. With all that took place in 2023 the year went by faster than expected packed with exciting events, tournaments and a few new courts across the province.
