Does anyone know where I might be able to get help with a Strathclyde EDM - I have recently discovered that Strathclyde in Australia shut down a couple of years ago, and we have a machine that's in a world of trouble. Something has gone wrong in the PLC backend, and it has lost all operation parameters and PLC memory (and it throws processor check error B when trying to restore the parameters from rom to ram) I know it's a long shot, the machine was built in '97, and a problem like this probably needs support from the original manufacturer (and a minor miracle). I just picked to a Charmilles D10 EDM for my shop. I'm not familiar with the chuck/tool holder that's on it. It didn't come with anything other than what's in the pictures. Dear All, We have roboform 810 EDM Machine. Problem is axes are not moving. Remote is not working. We bough new one from GF & still same issue. Remote buttons doesn't work. But Output LED gets on. When commanded in program MOV,X10 we get following error message. " E1040: BAD ELECTRODE PICKUP" We are not able to identify issue is because of remote or electrode pickup? What is E1040. Hello EDM Hole Drill folks! We recently purchased a Charmilles SH2 EDM Hole Drill from an auction and the manuals and software discs disappeared. Does anyone have the programming manual and software discs you would copy for us. We would of course pay you for your troubles in doing so. I am wondering if the Sodick KCN programming manual and discs would work as a second choice. From what we understand Sodick made the unit and sold to Charmilles who just put their name on it. Hello everyone, Recently I was able to pickup a Sodick A320D. The machine was working when the former company removed it to upgrade to a new machine. Unfortunately they cut the wires running from the cabinet to the EMD table. The wires are labeled in the panel but the labels are worn off at the terminal block bolted to both front and side blocks. I’m hoping that someone can help me out with which wires go where. Wires are labeled NR1L, NR1U, NR2L, NR2U, MAIN L, and MAIN U.
