As indicated in this thread, somehow when a post or reply contains a List (unnumbered | numbered), the forum software transforms the 'one list, multiple elements' into a 'multiple lists, one element' nested within the first element of the first list. I entered the list of beers as one list. When I clicked 'preview', the resultant screen showed my list formatted as seen in this response. My workaround was to take my original post, composed offline, paste it into the text box, and Submit. Then, it appeared correctly. Hi there, thanks for the great forum. You have some *incredible* users here that are amazingly helpful and respond in record time. Such an amazing space! The purpose of this post is that I seem to constantly hit the limits of new members. Last night I hit the 5 posts per 24h limit, and this morning when I went to respond, it showed me "This forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between posts. Concurrent to the elimination of trending, there have been some major detrimental changes that make this site almost useless. When I went to a forum previously, on the left there would be a symbol that indicated a thread that I had contributed to. That is gone. When I had notifications ( i.e. New likes received) I could click on that link and it would bring me to the likes page. That is gone. The format of every page is so different now - it has become unreadable. There used to be a link at the bottom of every page to jump to specific fora - that is gone.
