The BC Soccer Premier League was established by BC Soccer in conjunction with Canada Soccer, the Vancouver Whitecaps FC, the BCSPL Founding Club Franchises, and the BC Soccer membership. The overall objective of the league is to support the development and identification of players within a standards based environment for Under 13 through Under 18 male and female programming.

With the recent re-start plans announced by the Provincial Government, combined with a recent meeting of the BCSPL Committee mostly made up of its member clubs, the BCSPL has agreed to play a two week exhibition schedule in preparation for a full fall “back to normal” schedule with all clubs participating.
The clubs and league office are currently building a two weekend exhibition schedule for the June 19/20 and 26/27 weekends. Due to the PHO restrictions expected to be in place at that time, this will be for lower mainland clubs only.

During this very difficult time for all involved in youth sports, the BCSPL and its Clubs are actively working behind the scenes to plan for a spring season of play.
The tentative plan aims to kick off the league for the Lower Mainland Clubs on the March 6-7 weekend and with both Thompson Okanagan FC and Vancouver Island Wave joining the competition outlet on April 17-18. BC Soccer has now suspended Fraser Valley Premier (Langley FC) from involvement in the BCSPL until July 1, 2021.
BC Soccer provided the following direction to the Club;
FVP to notify all BCSPL impacted players/families, of this suspension, by no later than noon on December 14, 2020,
FVP to provide appropriate refunds to all BCSPL impacted players/families for fees collected associated with programming by no later than December 20, 2020, and
