I was thrilled to hear that this Galveston Beach Wedding Editorial got published in I Do Y’all Magazine! Being on the beach in the salty breeze was such a refreshing change of pace! Striking the right balance of chic details with laid-back style, this small beach celebration will have us all longing for a beach day.
The bride is wearing a dream of a dress that would catch the breeze off the gulf to make for some stunning shots. While the groom not only adored her but dug his toes into the sand. Magnolia Rose Company really went above and beyond when putting together the cascading orchids that ..read more

It was such a surreal afternoon on Avery Island photographing my niece, Sidney’s senior portraits. She looks so incredibly grown up that it just blew my mind. I wish her all the congratulations! I know she’ll go on to do great things after graduation.

Wow! It was impossible to miss how much in love these two are. Their chemistry just radiated out of them and it was a joy to have them in front of my camera. I was so happy to find out that 4-H brought them together as a former 4-H kid myself! I also love that they brought their love of Halloween into the session and made some unforgettable moments. These pumpkins had us laughing so hard. I can’t wait for their wedding! I know how much love will be in the room and I know it’ll be an honor to witness.

Katie & Chris’ Hilliard Art Museum wedding was such a special occasion. This sweet couple ended up having their wedding celebrations take place over two separate days a couple of months apart after a medical emergency threw a wrench in their plans. It made making it to the reception even sweeter. I’ve never spent so much time with a couple. From their portrait sessions to photographing some of the parties leading up to the wedding by the end of the second night, I felt like I was a part of the family and it was hard to say goodbye ..read more

This project is very personal and close to my heart. I made these images because I had to, they had been living inside of me for too long. I made them for myself. I hope that they are inspirational to my current and future brides but mostly they’re inspirational to me. An amazing team of talented women agreed to work with me on this and I’m forever grateful for them.

Claire & Jake’s Rip Van Winkle wedding was one for the books. After having a sentimental and traditional catholic wedding at their hometown church in St. Martinville, everyone headed out to Rip Van Winkle Gardens on Jefferson Island. They took advantage of the amazing view in a new way by moving their dance floor under the oaks and had their first dances at sunset as their guests took in the amazing view. I had never seen this set up before and it made the night feel super special. So much jitterbugging took place as Louisiana Red played on the nearby porch. An all-star team of vendors was ..read more

Oh boy were these a treat to make! When Katie mentioned she wanted to head to Nottoway‘s famous white room to do her bridal portraits I was more than excited. Her stunning and unique dress in the space was a perfect match. Now that Katie is a married lady I’m so glad I finally get to share these!

When a fellow photographer’s baby came a little early I was overjoyed to fill in for her and get to photograph the sweetest couple at this historic hotel! Hotel Bentley is such an iconic spot in Alexandria and was the perfect backdrop for these two’s classic celebration. Lovely Events did a great job pulling all the details together! Not to mention this is the only wedding where I’ve seen dueling pianos as the entertainment.

I loved photographing Camille & Phil throughout their wedding journey. For their engagements I could tell they were just the best of friends and those are my favorite kind of couples. After both of their portrait sessions came out so beautifully I knew their wedding would be no different and I was right. We had a dream team working that day and it all came together amazingly.
