‘Dancing Away with my Heart’ was the song Lindsay McKowen and Kemp Travis danced to as Mr. and Mrs. at their wedding reception at the Baton Rouge Country Club this past July. They took a trolly from First Presbyterian Church after repeating their vows before family and friends.
Kathryn McKowen served her sister as maid of honor while sister Lauren Bourgeois stood as matron of honor. Reid Travis was his brother’s best man.

The historic 1940s cotton Telico Gin in Ennis, Texas was the site for the wedding of Charlotte Follis and Jason Davis the last weekend in August. The two met while working on a job in Clarksville, Tennessee; him as a pipe fitter foreman and her as quality control. Jason popped the question in April 2021 at Charlotte’s family home, where everyone had gathered for family get-together.

Karley Irwin and Taylor Zummo had a sparkling send off after exchanging vows before friends and family July 10 at the Capitol Park Museum in Baton Rouge. Technically, they were already married – theirs was among the numerous weddings thrown into disarray by Covid19, so they had a small, intimate wedding with their immediate family a year earlier. Two years after Sean Mosher popped the question to Nicole Engler in a limo enroute to Mar’sel at Terranea Resort, a restaurant overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Palos Verdes, California, the couple wed in an April 17, 2021, ceremony at Ormond Plantation in Destrehan.
