We held our first face-to-face annual conference event since before the pandemic on the 20th of May, 2024. The event was held at the Eastside rooms in Birmingham, where they supported us in making this a special occasion. Over 75 members from across the West Midlands enjoyed networking and the host of speakers and topics showcased on the day. We intentionally chose the 20th of May to coincide with International HR Day to celebrate and recognise the tremendous work being done across the region by our amazingly talented people. The HPMA Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Julie Rogers as the Chief Executive of HPMA.  Julie succeeds Tracy Hill who has acted as interim CEO since the resignation of Nicky Ingham in October last year.  Julie will start on 1st July 2024. A chartered fellow of the CIPD, Julie has worked in the Welsh public sector for four decades.
